After studying at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Lyon between 1989 and 1994, he joined the group Organic Comix, a group whose main activity is the production of comic strips giants at various cultural events. This unconventional practice led him to develop between 1993 and 2000 a major paint job. Pulling photorealism, his paintings are a continuation of Figuration Critique of the 70...applied to social and political themes of the recession of the early to mid 90s. His current exhibitions are more about performance, the paintings being produced in a limited time on materials recovery.

 

 

Between 1994 and 2000, Brun played and sang in the group Hardcore punk Coche Bomba. Meanwhile, he published in various fanzines and comic strips. It s'autoédite in 1996 in Common Places, a collection of sequences delivering a sociological perspective on urban and suburban population.
